Hi! We are Jen & Steph Miller, sisters & co-owners of Lily + Sparrow Boutique. We are so grateful that you have chosen to support us! This store started as a dream of ours over 10 years ago. It was 2009 and we were both living in Florida when we felt God tug at our hearts to open a store. We felt like we were being called back to our home state of Indiana, but this time, to the Indianapolis suburbs. Over the next few years back in the Midwest, we continued to pray & dream up what our store could be like all while working various other jobs. The nagging feeling that this is what we were meant to do, however, never quite left us.

In September of 2013, we were connected to a couple at our church that had always dreamt of having a store in the back of their salon. How crazy to think that the Lord had intertwined our paths many months before we even realized it! The Lord began to turn our dream into a reality and before we knew it, we opened our doors on March 1, 2014. While there have been many changes along the way (2 moves and a rebrand to be exact), we still feel strongly that this calling is still so present in our lives.

Our heart at Lily + Sparrow is to encourage you to live confidently, knowing that you are worth more than many sparrows. We believe that God has called us not to fear, but to trust in His perfect timing and know so deeply how loved we are by Him. We pray these things over our store frequently, hoping that each customer that shops with us knows just how valuable and loved she is.

Matthew 6

28 And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, 29 yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. 30 And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?

Matthew 10

29 What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. 30 And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. 31 So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.
